A record is maintained of all training undertaken and will be used to determine the most suitable workforce for any project.
Identification of any training requirement will be the responsibility of all in a management position. The Training Officer and the Health & Safety Manager will consider the requirement and arrange any training accordingly.
The company operates an apprentice training scheme for construction industry trades in association with Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology.
Administrative staff undergo training at the company's expense and in company time if required. Recent training includes NVQ levels 2 and 3 in accounting, VAT, payroll.
Site workers are given training in operation of various plant and machinery up to CITB certification standards as operatives on site.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership has been set up with the University of Wolverhampton.
The company has a clear grading and salary structure that allows staff to develop to more senior positions.
There is an annual review of salaries accompanied by an appraisal process and is carried out in line with our Equal Opportunities Policy.
